SmilingSteps offers opportunities for people with learning difficulties and/or disabilities in Somerset, to participate in personalised fun activities, meet other people, learn new lifeskills and increase their confidence and independence in a safe and enjoyable environment.

We offer a variety of sessions, activities and services in Bridgwater, Pawlett, Cheddar, Wells, Taunton, Worle and Weston-super-Mare for adults and young adults with autism, aspergers, ADHD, hyperactivity, down syndrome, cystic fibrosis, celebral palsy and other learning difficulties and/or disabilities.

Our wide range of day services, activities and workshops have been designed with our service users and include leisure activities, functional skills, work related enhancements and social interaction.

While these are mainly group activities, we also provide 1:1 support following an assessment and agreement on the skills and area of development a person wishes to achieve.

We work through the direct payment system or through personal budgets.
