South Lakeland Phoenixes (SLP) is a small, friendly, mental health peer support group based in Grange over Sands, serving a small geographical area of South Lakeland in Cumbria. Whether you have a diagnosed mental health condition or are simply hoping to boost your emotional wellbeing, SLP aims to provide services and activities to help.
Run by people with lived experience of mental health and wellbeing difficulties, we provide an informal, non-judgemental, safe space where you can sit and talk (or not talk, if you prefer) for a couple of hours on a Monday afternoon.
No appointment or referral is needed – stay for 10 minutes or two and a half hours; the choice is yours. Join us for a brew and a biscuit or two – we’d be happy to see you.
