Hi, my name is Susie. I have been working in the health care industry for over 40
years; I have worked in mental health, with the elderly, and with learning disabilities. I
have worked in homes, and out in the community. I really enjoyed working at The
Grange with elderly people.
Over the years I have done a few other jobs like hair dressing and I even made
carpets for Victoria Carpets.
I enjoy being healthy and doing hobbies such as sewing. I’m a people pleaser and
don’t like to let anyone down, some could say I’m a workaholic, but it is because I
enjoy what I do – helping others, I find it very rewarding.
I take pride in my work, I’m old fashioned and hard working. The way I provide care is
the way I would expect it for myself when I’m older.
I have qualified in my level 2 diploma in health and social care, I have also completed
my care certificate. Throughout the years of working in care I have always kept my
training up to date with all the relevant legislations and needs of the work place.
Within my portfolio I have displayed my relevant certificates, also my business
car insurance and DBS which is on the update service, so can be requested whenever necessary.
