At Sunflower Home Support, we provide friendly companionship and practical support to help people remain independent, connected, and confident in their own homes and communities.
We are a local family-run business founded by Gordon and Jenny Fleming, built on the belief that everyone deserves kindness, friendship, and support to continue living life their way. We understand that maintaining independence can sometimes become more challenging, whether due to age, illness, disability, bereavement, or social isolation. Our aim is to provide reliable, person-centred support that makes everyday life easier and more enjoyable.
We offer a range of flexible services tailored to individual needs, including companionship visits, shopping and errands, transport and support to appointments, social outings, meal preparation, household support, dog visits with Chomper, and lifestyle and home management support. We can also help organise trusted tradespeople, manage appointments, and assist with the practical tasks that keep life running smoothly.
Our approach is built around developing meaningful relationships, reducing loneliness, promoting wellbeing, and helping people stay active within their local community. We take the time to get to know each person and provide support that is respectful, reliable, and centred around their preferences and goals.
Sunflower Home Support is not a personal care provider. Instead, we focus on companionship and practical everyday support that helps people maintain their independence and quality of life.
