We offer work related learning opportunities and hands on training in horticulture, animal care and habitat management.

Our training involves developing soft skills needed for any workplace. As our aim is for young people to leave the Patch with the desire to further their skills or find employment

Our facilities:

• 1 acre of production beds of flowers veg and fruit with rows of mature apple trees
• A large polytunnel for covered working spaces, plant propagation and protected cropping
• 2 donkeys, a small flock of chickens and ducks
• Buddy our PAT dog
• We are based on and have access to 85 acres of farmland which includes regenerative apple orchards and land managed for biodiversity
• Access to our forest school area complete with parachute and fire circle
• Our toilet facilities are currently a standard portaloo with separate handwashing. We are working towards accessible toilets in the future.
