The Village Bury St Edmunds CIC

This provider has yet to add availability information.

The Village is a community-led social enterprise focused on connection, wellbeing and gentle, preventative support for adults.

We create welcoming, low-pressure spaces where people can connect with others, feel heard, and take small steps towards improved wellbeing. Our work is rooted in the belief that community, belonging and human connection are essential to good mental and emotional health.

Our current activities include:

  • Tea and Talk – a monthly, informal drop-in session offering conversation, connection and a calm social space
  • Self-care and wellbeing groups – being developed in partnership with a local wellbeing coach, focused on grounding, reflection and practical self-care
  • Healing in Nature sessions – in collaboration with the Healing Woods project, using outdoor and nature-based experiences to support emotional wellbeing.

We aim to be inclusive, trauma-aware and accessible, recognising that many adults find traditional services overwhelming or unsuitable. There is no expectation to ‘fix’ anything or participate in a particular way – people are welcome to engage at their own pace.

The Village is about building supportive community connections, reducing isolation, and nurturing wellbeing through simple, meaningful experiences. As the enterprise grows, we plan to develop additional forms personalised support in response to local needs.
