This Is Us Dance offer regular and accessible creative movement classes, in and around the West Kent area, for children and adults with additional needs.
We are proud to run two regular Junior Groups, a Youth Group and Post 16’s Performance Company, as well as 1:1 classes and visits to SEND schools for creative movement sessions within the school day; giving individuals an outlet to express themselves in a different way.
It is our safe, creative outlet that enables individuals to be seen, heard and belong. We explore the joy and creativity behind movement to build upon the fundamental cognitive, social and physical skills. The methodic layering enables children and adults to learn and grow; gaining ownership of their movement, in turn building upon their self worth, confidence and creativity. Our sensory based, accessible approach to dance empowers these young people and supports the foundations towards achieving their aspirations.
“It is inclusion, but not as you know it!”
