This symbol means that the enterprise leader has a portfolio (folder) containing all the elements that show how they meet our Doing It Right Standards. It will provide you with information on the way that they work, checks they have in place, policies, procedures, and more. You can ask to see it to help you make any care choices.

I’m Emma,
I have worked in care for 5 years and one of the things I value the most is helping people remain independent in their own homes for as long as possible.
I believe that feeling comfortable, safe and happy in your own home is incredibly important. But I also believe that support should be personal to the individual. Everyone is different with their routines, interests, hobbies and things that make them happy. This can be anything from going for walks, help around the home, hobbies they have always enjoyed doing or company and chats over coffee. I also understand how reassuring it can be for families to know their loved ones are safe and supported in their own home.
Time well Spent is about getting to know each person and making our time together worthwhile
In my spare time I paddle board, run. I am a musician and I sing in a country band. Watch out, I’ll probably be humming a bit of Dolly Parton when I’m with you.
I would love to have a chat with you about any ideas you have around how I could support you. This may include:
I welcome direct payment customers and I am happy with the rate.
I have experience of working with people with dementia and people with learning disabilities, or people who struggle with their mental health.
