Unigol CYF

Availability information last updated: 24th June, 2026

Unigol Cyf is a warm, community‑driven service built on the belief that people deserve genuine choice, control, and consistency in their care. With a dedicated team of 9 staff supporting 14 clients, we remain intentionally small and personal, ensuring every individual is known, valued, and supported in a way that reflects their life, preferences, and goals. The registered manager has worked in care for over 25 years.

We are currently progressing toward becoming a regulated service, strengthening our governance and accountability while keeping our client‑led ethos at the heart of everything we do. Our model gives people the freedom to direct their own care, shape how support looks day‑to‑day, and even interview and choose the staff member who will work with them. This creates genuine relationships, trust, and continuity — the foundations of high‑quality, person‑centred support.
We hold monthly community events in the Vale of Glamorgan, open to all ages and abilities, designed to bring people together, reduce isolation, and create meaningful connections. Our offices also run regular outreach days in partnership with Age UK, Age Connects, Citizens Advice, and other local organisations, ensuring people can access guidance, support, and companionship close to home.

We’re also building a programme of community‑based activities, including tai chi, chair‑based yoga, and wellbeing sessions — with plans underway to become a BOCCIA venue, expanding inclusive sport and social opportunities for local residents.
