Whitstable Umbrella Community Centre is much more than just a space for hire.  The building hosts a wide variety of activities, services, groups and projects.

Activities: yoga, tai chi, art, dance, fitness, baby & toddler groups, board games, computer club

Support groups: Bright Shadow – dementia support, Different Strokes – for people who have had a stroke, Positive Birth, La Leche League, Bereavement support group

Advice: Citizens Advice, Canterbury Housing Advice Centre

Events: Gigs, markets, preloved sales, craft fairs, private parties & wedding receptions

The Umbrella Café CIC is in the lower level of the building alongside the Social Pantry and the Centre Office where you will find our friendly and helpful Umbrella Centre staff.

Hive Coworking is also on the lower level, through the yellow doors at the side of the building, and tucked away at the back of the centre is our beautiful and peaceful community garden.
