Free energy support service

Groundwork North Wales are providing a completely free energy support service for residents in Wrexham and Flintshire.

The Local Energy Advice Partnership (LEAP) is a service designed to help you save money and keep your home warm and comfortable.

A trained advisor can assist with reviewing your energy tariff, accessing discounts, lowering water tariffs, installing small energy-saving measures, and managing fuel debt. They can also connect you with other agencies for further support.

Watch this video to find out more.

How it works

If you qualify, you’ll receive a free home visit or a personalised advice call from a friendly, qualified Home Energy Advisor.

Through LEAP, you can benefit from:

  • Free installation of simple energy-saving measures, helping the average household to save £30 per year on energy bills.
  • Practical energy-saving tips to improve efficiency, optimise your heating system, and keep your home warm, all while reducing costs.
  • Tariff reviews.
  • Free telephone advice on benefits, debt, and financial support.
  • Referrals for further energy efficiency enhancements, including loft insulation or a new boiler.

Check if you meet LEAP’s eligibility criteria. To qualify, you must also live in Wrexham or Flintshire.

*This is a limited offer subject to availability*
