Ever wanted to make a real difference in your community but not sure where to start? Do you currently work in a care role but feel you want more opportunities to build meaningful relationships with your clients? Do you have a skill you could share with people in your community?
If the answer is yes to any of these points, have you ever thought about setting up your own homecare service to support vulnerable people in your community? Perhaps one that offers homecare, companionship support, or other vital services?
If so, you’re not alone. Many people dream of making a meaningful impact, but the path to entrepreneurship can feel overwhelming without the right resources or guidance.
Community Catalysts can make this dream come true by offering mentorship support so you are not alone. We provide encouragement, free resources, marketing advice, and opportunities to network with other enterprises across BANES. With our support, your dreams can transform into tangible outcomes: creating jobs, serving your community, and building a legacy.
BANES Community Catalysts will be running two events in March giving you the opportunity to learn more about the support we can offer through our exciting Development Programme. On 12th March, we are joining forces with business support service Cool Ventures to offer a free training workshop exploring everything you need to know about running your own homecare business. Come and join us at The Studio (10 Palace Yard Mews, Bath, BA1 2NH) from 09:30 – 14:30.

Alternatively, we are hosting a Meet Community Catalysts event on 20th March at the Hub, (Mulberry Park, Foxhill, Bath, BA2 5BU) from 10:00 – 12:00. There is no need to register; simply turn up on the day for a short presentation and opportunity to discuss your homecare or wellbeing business idea, and explore what help we can provide to make this a reality.
