Meetings with MPs

2026 began with two encouraging meetings with the MPs for Warrington North (Charlotte Nichols) and Warrington South (Sarah Hall). We were joined by some of our fantastic enterprises: Jess from Bee Kind Companions, Liz from Lillibet Sews, and Sam from Kind Hearts Kind Hands.

The meeting with Sarah Hall focused on the support provided by micro-enterprises across Warrington and how the development programmed offered by Community Catalysts can enable people to fulfil their own dreams of becoming self-employed, offering person-centred services that can bring comfort and connection to those who need it most.

The meeting with Charlotte Nichols was an open and honest discussion about the growing need for services like these in Warrington, to help ease the increasing pressures on adult social care.

We spoke about the importance of a quality service — ensuring people’s dignity is respected, visits are meaningful, and wellbeing is genuinely prioritised. Customers value seeing the same familiar face, something that is especially vital for those living with dementia or mental health challenges, where trust and consistency make such a difference.
