“I am very pleased to share with you that the new contract with Oxfordshire County Council (April 2023 – April 2026 initially) will be focused in the District of Vale of White Horse. More specifically, I will start the project in the immediate area of Wantage, and I am already excited to be visiting and building connections in this beautiful town with such amazing history, as the birth place of King Alfred the Great and Lester Piggott (the jockey). The town sits on the Berkshire Downs escarpment, and a few miles to the south lies the Oxfordshire border.

The focus remains helping people to set up their own care and support enterprises, but with a desire for there to be more groups out in the community for adults to be able to connect with. I look forward to sharing more with you as I get to know the area and, most importantly, the people.”
