New partnerships in BANES, and grants to cover start-up costs

Michael Auton, Community Catalyst in BANES, recently attended a special conference in Bath called Midlife Work Review, run by the Bath and North East Somerset Council Business and Skills Team. He had the opportunity to meet a range of organisations and services supporting people who were looking for new work or considering a career change.

One of these services was Seetec Pluss, who deliver a wide range of work and wellbeing services that empower people to find and progress in work. They run a programme called Work and Health Programme – Pioneer (WHP Pioneer) for people receiving universal credit and wanting to secure employment, which includes small grants to cover start-up costs (e.g. a Fully Enhanced DBS Certificate, insurance, NACAS membership etc). Find out more about the programme.

Community Catalysts BANES and Seetec Pluss are exploring how best they can work together going forwards in BANES.
