Support with digital access

Gloucestershire Rural Community Council’s DAISI (Digital Accessibility, Inclusion, Support, and Innovation) project and partnership supports individuals, communities, and organisations with digital access by providing IT equipment, data, training, and accessibility resources.

If you know of anyone in your community that could do with help regarding:

Customised digital support: DAISI can provide digital resources, training, and upskilling opportunities to help you navigate technology confidently.

Local digital support: DAISI come to you with their countywide drop-in groups. Bring along your devices and get help with your digital problems.

Data and device banks: DAISI distribute SIM cards and devices such as laptops, phones, and tablets to those most in need.

Accessibility support: DAISI offer guidance on assistive technologies, such as screen readers, and advise on reasonable adjustments to help create inclusive digital spaces.

Advancing communities and organisations through resources and nurturing (ACORN): They collaborate with local communities and organisations to develop digital solutions, support grass-roots data opportunities, and promote peer-to-peer upskilling, aiming for digital equity.

Digital health: Partnering with the NHS, they explore initiatives like virtual wards and workshops on health apps to enhance digital health access.
