Today is World Autism Acceptance Day, kicking off World Autism Acceptance Month which runs until the end of April. This month is a time to come together, raise awareness, and foster understanding for the autistic community, and this year the National Autistic Society are focusing on the theme of ‘acceptance at work’.
It’s about more than raising awareness, for instance looking at how you show up to support your autistic colleagues. By fostering understanding and creating a culture of acceptance, you can help to ensure that autistic individuals feel valued, included, and empowered to succeed.
Throughout the month, the National Autistic Society are inviting businesses and organisations to join them in creating more inclusive workplaces. Whether it’s through hosting fundraising events, accessing our free resources, or starting meaningful conversations, your participation can make a real difference.

The National Autistic Society are also hosting a free webinar called ‘An introduction to autism in the workplace’ which will take place at 5pm on 15th April. Sign up to secure your place.
