Community Enterprise Catalyst (Powys)
Heather Maling qualified as a physiotherapist in 1994 and worked in the NHS for over 20 years, specialising in hydrotherapy. In 2016 she switched to working as a community physiotherapist for older persons in South Powys. Inspired by her participation in an integrated health and social care project, she decided to work independently, adopting the values of the person centred approach.
It is clear that what matters to the people of Powys and their families is to be able to access quality care and support, when they need it. Heather is delighted to be working for Community Catalysts in Powys to assist those who would like to work independently in the care and support sector, to become providers.
Outside work Heather enjoys the Brecon Beacons National Park with her husband, horse and 3 dogs07595 411945
