I’m pleased to be working as a Community Catalyst in Suffolk, supporting the development of micro-enterprises and contributing towards changing the culture of social care. Suffolk is a particularly rural county so diversifying the care available to people will make a real difference here.
I have a varied background in community development in both local government and the voluntary sector, and as a result I believe strongly in the skills, strengths, wisdom and expertise of individuals and communities, as well as their ability to do things for themselves. I love being part of that process, facilitating and enabling where appropriate, and enjoy seeing communities thrive and become resilient.
My time outside work is filled with family, music, poetry, reading and environmental activism.
