We’ve signed and support a Local Government Association statement that calls for government to mitigate the pressures on councils, providers and charities.

We join a group of over 100 organisations who have set out the need for government to work with the adult social care sector.

The government faces a challenging task of building a strong economy and sustainable and inclusive growth in the current fiscal environment. The challenge will be considerably harder if adult social care is not prioritised and funded adequately.

We are ready to work with the government, as equal partners, to bring about the long-term changes needed to build a care and support system that enables everyone to live the life they want to lead.
