Worcestershire

The 2-year programme, delivered in partnership with Worcestershire County Council, offers support to local people to set up and run their own small community enterprises offering help for older or disabled people in their homes or through community-based opportunities.

In the first year, we have supported over 20 community enterprises with a range of offers, from personal care, to help in the home and companionship. From handyperson services to home-cooked food deliveries to your door. We have also supported 2 new centres to get set up offering activities for people with learning disabilities and a yoga instructor to focus on delivering seated yoga classes. Have a look at our Small Good Stuff directory to see all the options.

Meet our Worcestershire Community Enterprise Catalyst:

“Worcestershire County Council is pleased to be working with Community Catalysts to develop micro-enterprises/small businesses within the County. The micro-enterprises will provide even more choice and flexibility for people with care and support needs. The micro-enterprises will support people to live the best life they can, by helping with personal care and other activities of daily living. The development of these small and local businesses will create further job opportunities across Worcestershire, including in rural communities.”
