Natasha Caillault believes that everyone deserves to thrive in an environment where they feel safe, supported, and valued.
Natasha’s journey in care began in 2010, supporting young people with epilepsy and complex behaviours in a residential home. She then led a team for a young woman who initially needed four-to-one support and over time reduced that to one-to-one support. That experience, along with a later experience of helping someone transition from a secure setting back into the community, showed her how powerful compassionate, structured and community-based care can be.
With over 15 years of leadership experience and a deep passion for helping others, Natasha felt inspired to set up her own business, Flourish2Thrive.
As Flourish2Thrive began its journey to support people in Suffolk, joining the Community Catalysts Community Micro-enterprise Development Programme played a vital role in giving it a strong foundation.
Amy, Community Catalyst for West Suffolk, worked closely with the Flourish2Thrive team to ensure the enterprise was safe, legal and sustainable. She helped the team to navigate rules and regulations, signpost them to training opportunities, support with developing essential policies and procedures, and offer marketing ideas and networking opportunities.
“Community Catalysts has been instrumental in helping us build Flourish2Thrive the right way, not just with passion, but with purpose, structure and accountability. Their support has enabled us to align fully with the Doing it Right standards, ensuring our enterprise is safe, legal, person-centred, sustainable and fully equipped to deliver high-quality care that genuinely empowers individuals.”
Flourish2Thrive supports people with more specialised care needs, including people with learning disabilities and/or autism, people experiencing challenges with their mental health, and people expressing behaviours that may challenge. Its expertise lies in delivering intensive, person-centred care, often on a one-to-one or two-to-one basis. The team is highly trained in Positive Behaviour Support, trauma-informed care and de-escalation techniques. This enables them to provide consistent, safe, and respectful support tailored to each individual. They believe in care that upholds dignity, fosters community participation, and transforms lives – not just for the people they support, but for their families and communities too.
“We’ve received consistent, tailored support and guidance; from developing robust policies and procedures to navigating compliance, quality assurance and service design. Community Catalysts provided the tools and confidence to deliver the kind of care that makes a lasting difference. Amy’s support has been so valuable to us on this journey and her ongoing input has helped translate our values into action, enabling the team to grow with clarity and confidence.”
