Heather qualified as a physiotherapist in 1994 and worked in the NHS for more than 20 years specialising in hydrotherapy. In 2016 Heather became a community physiotherapist for older people in South Powys. Inspired by her participation in an integrated health and social care project, Heather has spent the last three years running the Community Catalyst project in Powys, enabling 70 people to set up their own community micro-enterprises, contributing to over 1,000 hours a week of care and support.
Heather now runs the Community Catalysts project in Rhondda Cynon Taf and brings her passion for quality and choice to people and their families here.
Outside of work Heather enjoys being a Mountain Leader in the Brecon Beacons National Park and elsewhere.
