We are thrilled to welcome three new Board members to our team: Jacqui McElhinney, Paul Morton and Simon Tobelem. Together, they add a wealth of professional and personal experience and will work with our current Board members to help us achieve our ambitious vision.
Our new Board members…
Jacqui McElhinney
Jacqui is an experienced health professional with a background in delivering wide-scale transformation across the NHS and private healthcare sectors. She has more than 30 years’ experience in business development, financial governance, operational management and leadership at executive level.
Recognised at a national level for developing and implementing a local government strategic plan for Adults and Childrens Social Care, Jacqui has also worked within the Voluntary and Community sector to lead on the design of family support; developed the North West Urgent Care Strategy at North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust and been a General Manager at a leading cancer hospital. She is currently the Partnership and Development Lead with an international healthcare organisation focusing on Clinical Oncology.
Jacqui is passionate about her community and volunteers her time to support local people and groups. Her personal and professional experience, skills and values are a valuable asset to our Board.
Paul Morton
Paul is passionate about healthcare, education and global health issues and has devoted more than 30 years to these fields. He started his career as an outdoor pursuits instructor, then trained as a dentist in Leeds, before pursuing a career in industry where his experience spanned sales, marketing, finance, and operational roles.
As part of a rich and diverse career Paul has worked as a Chairman, CEO and CFO around the world for Global Multinationals with extended assignments in Paris, Istanbul, Dubai, and Chicago focussing on healthcare technologies and healthcare facilities. In his last role, he was Group CEO of Prism Healthcare group, providers of products and services to long-term care, social care, and SEND communities.
Paul identifies strongly with our vision and values and brings new perspectives and experience to our Board. He is currently an advisor to healthcare and education SMEs and serves on the boards of several charitable organisations in the UK and abroad. He also serves as a local councillor.
Simon Tobelem
Simon is a serial Entrepreneur with global experience in investment, finance and business development. He speaks 5 languages and has a successful track-record in designing and implementing solutions to build, grow and transform businesses. He has acted as a Strategic Advisor to the Israeli Ministry of Finance, international companies, SMEs and start-ups in the for-profit and not-for-profit sectors; has supported and grown many technology-based ventures specialising in the development of medical devices and telemedicine; and is a longstanding member of the Government taskforce advising on tech in education.
Originally from France and having lived all over the World, Simon now lives in London where he is an active member of his community. He holds several Non-Exec Director positions and is a Trustee in various charities and not-for-profit organisations.
As an entrepreneur, Simon is excited by our work. He is keen to bring his experience to help us as we develop and grow in the future.
