In Warrington, we are working with Warrington Borough Council and funded through the Government’s UK Shared Prosperity Fund programme. We are working closely with local partners to expand the variety of homecare and support options available to local people. By supporting individuals to establish small community enterprises, we aim to provide real choices alongside existing care providers. These micro-enterprises can offer tailored homecare services as well as a range of support that enhances overall wellbeing. This could include things like practical help around the home, cleaning, gardening, pet support and help with getting up and ready for the day.
As part of this initiative, we have developed a directory to showcase the local community enterprises, helping residents access personalised services that best meet their needs.
“We are incredibly excited to work with Community Catalysts, not only will this improve the lives of local people in Warrington. It will uncover local people who have the right value base and skills to become micro community enterprises supporting local people in their community with a diverse range of service offer. It is important we support our local people.”
