The Health Equity working group of C4PC organised a roundtable discussion on the topic of Addressing Health Inequalities through Community Strengthening.
The objective of this event was to promote an understanding of how community strengthening approaches can impact health inequalities.

The roundtable discussion was diverse and rich with representation from VCFSE, NHS England, Integrated Care Boards, Local Authorities, and academia.
We plan to continue the discussion in the upcoming weeks to explore ways that ICSs (Integrated Care Systems) and other elements of the health and public sector can create conditions for community strengthening and empowerment to happen. We will produce a report summarising all the insights and recommendations gathered from this and future discussions.
