Vale of Glamorgan

We’re working in partnership with the Vale of Glamorgan Council to support local people to set up and run small community enterprises that offer help, support and activities for local residents — particularly older people, people with learning disabilities, people with physical disabilities, and those experiencing social isolation.

Community micro‑enterprises are very small ventures (usually fewer than eight staff) offering a wide range of support and activities — from arts and crafts, music and dance, to exercise classes, social clubs and much more.

If you have an idea that could help people in your community, get in touch. We’ll support you every step of the way to get your idea off the ground.

“We are really excited about our new partnership with Community Catalysts to support the development of community‑based micro‑enterprises. This will create meaningful employment opportunities,  and enable residents to access flexible, person‑centred support.”
